SAFI Institute of Advanced Study (AUTONOMOUS) is the first Arts & Science College in India to be awarded with the NAAC A++ grading in the first cycle of accreditation in 2023 and has been granted autonomous status in 2024. The institution secured 19th rank in the college category of the KIRF 2024 and first amoung unaided colleges in kerala.Also granted for the departments of microbiology & Biotechnology as research centres for the period of 5 years to enable Ph.D studies. Currently it has over 2200 students, constituting 60% girl students. The SAFI Campus was dedicated to the nation by Shri. M. Hamid Ansari, then Vice President of India, on 11.11.2011.

The HR Institute is envisioned as the primary vehicle to actualize SAFI's vision of creating professionally competent and socially responsible leaders with ethics and values. The Institute has four activity streams:

Leaders' Academy at SAFI is a transformative leadership initiative aimed at developing visionary leaders for the future. Through a rigorous selection process involving both written tests and interviews, a batch of 30 promising undergraduate students is chosen annually. The academy offers a comprehensive program that includes group mentorship, skill-building workshops, and exposure to influential leaders. With a strong focus on personalized mentoring and practical training, students are guided to enhance their leadership skills, ethical values, and social awareness. This nurturing environment ensures that participants not only grow as leaders but also as responsible and impactful individuals, prepared to make a difference in the world.
