About SAFI

Social Advancement Foundation of India (SAFI) is a non-profit charitable trust, established in September 2001 by educationists, philanthropists and social activists, towards empowering the society with education and research. SAFI is committed to generating skilled manpower capable of providing leadership in various fields, including science, technology, management, and commerce. Our mission includes setting up world-class centres for advanced study and research, promoting quality education, and grooming competent leaders with high ethical and moral values.

Our Institutions

The SAFI Group of Institutions, run by the Social Advancement Foundation of India (SAFI), focuses on transforming backward communities by providing high-quality education and fostering ethical values. The group aims to excel in social, educational, and economic spheres through intellectual dynamism and a commitment to advancing knowledge and improving quality of life and civilization. It also emphasizes the importance of serving the community and contributing to national and human welfare.

SAFI INSTITUTE OF ADVANCED STUDY (AUTONOMOUS)

SAFI Institute of Advanced Study (AUTONOMOUS) is the first Arts & Science College in India to be awarded with the NAAC A++ grading in the first cycle of accreditation in 2023 and has been granted autonomous status in 2024. SAFI Institute currently offers 15 undergraduate programmes and 8 postgraduate programmes. Currently it has over 2200 students, constituting 60% girl students. The SAFI Campus was dedicated to the nation by Shri. M. Hamid Ansari, then Vice President of India, on 11.11.2011.

SAFI IAS ACADEMY

SAFI extends its impact to the realm of civil service coaching through SAFI IAS Academy. Since our inception, we have addressed the historical challenge faced by South Indian students who had to journey north for top-notch civil service coaching. SAFI IAS Academy has forged strategic partnerships with esteemed teachers in Delhi, bringing the expertise of the nation's finest educators to the southern part of India. This collaboration aims to revolutionize the civil service preparation landscape for students in South India, providing a seamless and accessible pathway to success.

SAFI Leaders’ Academy & Centre for Social Empowerment (CSE)

Leaders' Academy at SAFI is a transformative leadership initiative aimed at developing visionary leaders for the future. Through a rigorous selection process involving both written tests and interviews, a batch of 30 promising undergraduate students is chosen annually. The academy offers a comprehensive program that includes group mentorship, skill-building workshops, and exposure to influential leaders. With a strong focus on personalized mentoring and practical training, students are guided to enhance their leadership skills, ethical values, and social awareness. This nurturing environment ensures that participants not only grow as leaders but also as responsible and impactful individuals, prepared to make a difference in the world.
